On Independence Day, partisans decorated the occupied cities with Ukrainian symbols

The partisans decorated the streets of the settlements of Kherson and the Zaporozhye region temporarily occupied by Russia with state Ukrainian symbols.

Blue and yellow flags and the Ukrainian coat of arms appeared on the streets of Kherson, Berdyansk, Tavriysk, Kakhovka, Nova Kakhovka, Energodar, Melitopol, Oleshky, Tokmak and Genichesk. Drawings of "People's Resistance of Ukraine" were placed near houses, on porches, in parks, on cultural monuments and on tree trunks. Next to the Ukrainian symbols is the inscription: "Under the blue-yellow flag we gained Independence, under it we will destroy rashism."
Thus, our partisans reminded the Russians that all the currently occupied cities are Ukraine and they will be liberated from the enemy.

At the same time, mass events dedicated to Independence Day were canceled almost throughout Ukraine for security reasons.. Especially vigilant because of the threat of shelling and provocations, residents of the front-line and border areas are called to be.
