Over 1,044 children affected by Russian aggression in Ukraine

As of the morning of July 25, more than 1,044 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the official number of child victims did not change per day - 358. The number of wounded has increased - over 686.

This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
"These figures are not final, since work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.. Children suffered the most in the Donetsk region - 362, Kharkiv - 194, Kiev - 116, Chernihiv - 68, Lugansk - 61, Mykolaiv - 55, Kherson - 54, Zaporozhye - 40.
On July 25, an 8-year-old girl was wounded as a result of shelling by the invaders of the Nikolaev district of the Nikolaev region. It became known that on July 18, a 17-year-old boy was injured as a result of artillery shelling by the enemy in the city of Gornyak, Donetsk region.

It is also noted that 2,188 educational institutions were damaged due to bombing and shelling by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. Of these, 221 were completely destroyed.
