From September 16, Polish citizens have the right to stay in Ukraine legally for 18 months.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports this on Facebook.

Today the Law of Ukraine No. 2471-IX “On the Establishment of Additional Legal and Social Guarantees for the Citizens of the Republic of Poland Residing on the Territory of Ukraine” came into force.
"Citizens of Poland, their spouses and children (regardless of citizenship) who entered Ukraine from the territory of the Republic of Poland for temporary stay, as well as their children born on the territory of Ukraine, have the right to stay on the territory of Ukraine legally for 18 months", - noted in the State Border Guard Service.
They also have the right to extend their legal stay in Ukraine if they have relevant supporting documents - admission to a higher education institution, transfer to the next academic year, conclusion of an employment contract (contract), etc.
