Unified information system of the social sphere - what is it

12:23 09 September Kyiv, Ukraine

From October 1, the Ministry of Social Policy will introduce the Unified Social Information System (UISIS) in all regions of Ukraine, which will allow internally displaced persons to receive services at their place of actual residence.

This is reported by the Government portal.

"This allows you to centralize the appointment, accrual and payments for IDPs, which will significantly speed up the receipt of assistance and the solution of problematic issues of IDPs," the message says.

Thanks to the EISSS, the social security authorities will provide services regardless of the address indicated in the person's documents.

"For example, when a person moved from the city of Kharkiv, received an IDP certificate in Lviv, and then moved to Ternopil, he will be able to resolve all issues at the actual place of residence. In the context of a full-scale war, we must protect our people as much as possible and simplify the provision of services for them," Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk explained.

Thus, internally displaced persons in any regional department of social protection can:

  • quickly change an irrelevant place of residence in the IDP certificate;
  • correct erroneous or incorrect data in the application for an IDP certificate;
  • find out and eliminate the reason for the delay in living allowance.

The unified information system of the social sphere is completing the testing phase in the Zhytomyr, Rivne and Vinnitsa regions.

In addition, the involvement of employees of the department of social protection from other regions continues for its implementation throughout the country.
