Airbnb resumes free housing program for Ukrainian families abroad

12:20 26 October Kyiv, Ukraine

The Airbnb housing search service, together with United for Ukraine, an international organization that helps Ukrainian migrants, is resuming a program of free housing for Ukrainians abroad.

You can apply for free temporary housing in Europe on the UFU platform under "Find temporary housing".

Only families with children can apply for housing. Accommodation is provided for a minimum of 7 days, a maximum per month. You can introduce yourself only if you have not used the services of United for Ukraine before.

To apply for housing, you must provide the following information:
  • who needs housing, where and for how long;
  • confirmation that you are looking for housing because you left Ukraine because of the war;
  • confirmation of a person with a Ukrainian passport, work permit or residence permit;
  • a stamp stating that you left Ukraine on February 24, 2022 or later;
  • agents may also ask you to provide additional documents depending on where you are traveling.
Recall that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Airbnb banned citizens of Russia and Belarus from using its services around the world.
