The US military deployed six fifth-generation F-22 Raptor fighter-bombers to the air base in the Polish city of Lask.

This is evidenced by the data of the command of the US Air Force in Europe on Friday, July 29.

The day before, the aircraft of the 90th Fighter Squadron, sent from Alaska, made an intermediate landing at Lakenheath Air Force Base in England.

According to the US Air Force Command in Europe, these aircraft "will strengthen the shield of NATO allies from the Baltic to the Black Sea."

It is planned that later six more F-22s will arrive in Europe. According to reports, they can be deployed at the Souda Bay base on the Greek island of Crete.

Earlier, the United States sent fifth-generation F-35 fighter jets to Germany to strengthen NATO's defenses. They are deployed at the Spangdahl air base.
