In Moldova, military exercises are taking place with the participation of military personnel from Romania and the United States

At the Military Training Base of the National Army of Moldova in Bulboaca, the Fire Shield-2022 military exercises are being held, in which military personnel from Romania and the United States take part.
 
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the country.

During the exercises, firing from various types of weapons, including artillery systems, training in performing specific tasks, improving the skills of units and increasing compatibility between the armies of partner countries in peacekeeping missions are planned.

The Deputy Chairman of the General Staff of the National Army of Moldova, Colonel Sergiu Chirimpei stressed that the Fire Shield-2022 is important,
to ensure the training of Moldovan troops and enable them to train alongside foreign counterparts.
The Ministry of Defense of Moldova stressed that the Fire Shield is part of the army training plan for 2022. These exercises have been held annually since 2015.
