In the municipality of El Espinal, part of the tribune collapsed with spectators in the arena where the corraleja took place, a traditional form of bullfighting in Colombia that does not involve killing animals.
 
More than 300 people were injured in the collapse of the grandstand with spectators, said Marta Palacios, head of the region's health department.
"We consider it important to report that 322 people have sought emergency medical care.. Four people died," she said at a press conference.
Among the four victims of the tragedy, three adults and one 14-month-old child.
