Turkey, China, India and African countries continue to buy banned Russian coal after a ban on its import.

This was reported by Bloomberg news agency on Monday, November 7.

Since August 10, Russia has been selling its coal to these countries at a significant discount compared to coal of a similar grade from other countries.

Ankara imported Russian thermal coal in September at a price of $199 per ton. This is almost 23% lower than similar fuel from Colombia, Turkey's next largest supplier.

As we have already reported, in September China bought record volumes of liquefied gas and coal from Russia.
