Russia may start using self-produced Iranian Shaheds as early as next year - CNN

Russia may start using Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones, manufactured on its own territory, as early as 2023.

According to CNN, citing its own sources, Iran is beginning to transfer blueprints and components necessary for the manufacture of drones to Russia after the parties entered into an initial agreement earlier this month.
"The goal is for Russia to produce thousands of new combat drones using Iranian components and blueprints.. He also assured that Iran and Russia "supported bilateral defense, scientific and research cooperation" for many years even before Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
