Lithuanian border guards at the checkpoint in Kybartai did not allow a train with Russian military symbols on the cars to enter the country. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Lithuania (SOGGL) on Saturday, November 5.

"In one train there were three wagons, in the other - two. Empty wagons were supposed to follow through Lithuania in transit to Belarus. The border guards did not allow this to be done, and also informed the Lithuanian Railways about the cars," the message says.

It is noted that five wagons must be uncoupled and returned back to the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation. Only then the trains will be able to proceed through the territory of Lithuania.

Judging by the published photos, the symbols of the Russian Airborne Forces were applied to the cars.

Recall that Lithuania introduced fines for the St. George ribbon, as well as signs Z and V - from 300 to 700 euros for citizens and from 600 to 1200 euros for companies. For repeated violations, the amount of fines increases even more.

The Venice Commission recognized the ban on symbols of the invasion of the Russian Federation as legal.
