Finland has stepped up restrictions on the purchase of land, including by Russians. We are talking about tightening the law from 2020, which requires permission from the Finnish Ministry of Defense when buying land by people who are not citizens of EU countries.
This was stated to the media by the Russian trade representative in Helsinki Anton Loginov.
He explained that from 2020, a license from the Ministry of Defense is required for the acquisition of land by non-EU citizens and companies 10% or more of whose capital is owned by citizens or companies from non-EU countries.
