The Estonian government signed a decree regulating the purchase, import and transportation of Russian oil and oil products.

This is reported by the BNS agency, reports Enkorr.

According to the document, all imports of Russian oil products are stopped until the end of the transition period established by the EU and its import is prohibited from December 5.
"From December 5, the transit of Russian oil and oil products in Estonia must be completely stopped," Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu said earlier in an interview with the Postimees newspaper.
The EU has established a gradual transition period for imposing sanctions on the import and transit of Russian oil products, which should end in February next year.

Currently, due to the proximity to Russia and the proximity of ports, the export of these products to Estonia continues.
"Estonian position has always been that this should be ended as soon as possible," Reinsalu said.
