If Putin uses nuclear weapons, it will be considered an attack on NATO - Graham

The use of nuclear weapons by the Russian aggressor in Ukraine will be considered by the United States as an attack on NATO, since the consequences of such actions will also affect the countries of the Alliance.

This was stated by US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham during his speech at a meeting entitled "From Nuremberg to Ukraine: responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity," reports Dikgazete.

"If Putin continues to threaten Ukraine and use nuclear weapons, we will consider this a large-scale attack on NATO. Radiation affects not only Ukraine, but the whole of Europe," he stressed.

According to him, a Russian nuclear strike would have catastrophic consequences not only for Ukraine, but for the whole world.

"We must immediately confront this blackmail. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that if Russia used nuclear weapons in Ukraine, it would be devastating, and he was right," he added.
