Already at the end of August, the countries of the European Union will discuss the issue of banning the issuance of Schengen visas to Russians.

This was announced by Rikard Jozwiak on Twitter on Wednesday, August 10.

He noted that EU ministers will discuss the visa ban for Russian citizens at a meeting in Prague later this month. According to him, there is a possibility that the EU countries will not be able to reach an agreement.
"At this point, it is unlikely that the EU as a whole will jointly agree to stop issuing tourist visas to Russians, but, as is the case with many EU sanctions against Russia this year, "anything is possible," he concluded.
