Borrell says barricades in Kosovo will be removed

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell approved the decision of the Kosovo authorities to postpone the plan to change documents for Serbs until September 1.

 
He published the corresponding statement on Twitter on August 1.
 
"Expect all roadblocks to be removed immediately," Borrell said.
 
He also stressed that "open issues should be resolved within the EU-facilitated dialogue and focus on a comprehensive normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia."
 
"This is important for their integration into the EU," summed up the head of European diplomacy.
