The World Health Organization claims a 35% increase in deaths from coronavirus in the world. Over the past week, about 15 thousand deaths from coronavirus were recorded in the world
“Over the past four weeks, the number of reported deaths from COVID-19 worldwide has increased by 35%. Over the past week alone, 15,000 people around the world have died from COVID-19. This is completely unacceptable when we have all the tools to prevent infections and save lives.
Doctors also noted that the Omicron strain remains dominant, while its BA.5 subvariant represents more than 90% of the sequences.
“We are all tired of this virus and tired of the pandemic, but the virus is not tired of us,” recalled the head of the organization.
