In Ukraine, the number of people infected with coronavirus has increased

Over the past week, 44,137 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine, while the week before last – 36,683 cases.

 
This was reported on Monday, September 26 by data from the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health.

During the week, the infection was recorded in 5,882 children and 1,030 medical workers, as well as in 12,572 vaccinated persons (the week before last - 10,317). 6,667 patients were hospitalized (for the week before last, 6,273).

As of September 25, 17.3% of the beds designated for the treatment of patients with coronavirus disease were occupied by patients with COVID-19 and suspected of this infection.

At the same time, 5,776 people were discharged from medical institutions during the week (4,797 people the year before last).

23,591 people recovered from coronavirus disease over the past week (the previous week – 17,430 people).

In addition, 161 people died last week due to complications due to COVID-19 (up from 90 the week before last).

In total, since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 5,177,217 people have become ill with coronavirus, including 375,103 children, 146,263 medical workers. Also, COVID-19 was recorded in 455,662 vaccinated.

4,988,317 people recovered, 109,206 Ukrainians died, including 84 children and 1,250 medical workers.
