About 800 cases of coronavirus infection were detected on the Majestic Princess cruise ship, which has moored in the port of Sydney, on which there are more than 3 thousand passengers and 1 thousand crew members. This was announced on Saturday, November 12, by the Australian broadcasting corporation ABC.

The New South Wales Department of Health has placed the vessel on a warning level of three, the highest possible, the channel points out. At this level, it is believed that at least 20% of those who were on the liner are infected.

All arrivals will be screened with rapid antigen tests prior to disembarkation.

According to the cruise company Carnival, they began to identify the first infected on the ship in the middle of a 12-day cruise. The disease was mild or asymptomatic, the infected were isolated, the rest were advised to take precautions, including wearing masks.

Recall that as of the end of October, Ukraine received 2.3 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

We add that in the Kirovograd region a child died from the coronavirus.
