Egypt removes all COVID-restrictions for the entry of tourists

The Cabinet of Ministers of Egypt has decided to cancel all anti-coronavirus restrictions on the entry of foreign tourists and citizens of the country due to the improvement of the epidemiological situation and good rates of vaccination.
“During a meeting of the Egyptian government, it was decided to lift all anti-COVID restrictions imposed on the entry of Egyptians or foreigners to control the epidemiological situation inside and outside the country,” Sada El Balad reports.

There is no word on when restrictions will be lifted.. Now, to enter Egypt, you need a certificate of vaccination of one of the vaccines approved by WHO, or the Russian Sputnik, a certificate of the coronavirus or a PCR test.

According to the portal, the epidemiological situation in the country is stable: citizens have been provided with 86.6 million doses of various vaccines against coronavirus, as well as 4.5 million doses for revaccination.. The government believes that these stocks are sufficient to ensure a good rate of vaccination of the population.
