Naftogaz launches a network of gas stations under its own trademark U.GO

09:59 13 September Kyiv, Ukraine

Naftogaz is starting a pilot launch of filling stations under its own U.GO brand in Kyiv and the region, the company said.

The first 30 gas stations will start operating in September. These are former petrol stations (gas stations) of the arrested Glusco network.

In May 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to transfer the property of Neftegaz arrested in the framework of criminal proceedings. In total, these are 172 objects: 126 filling station buildings, unfinished buildings, land plots and property.
“The company has focused on meeting the needs of the market as quickly as possible. We deliberately decided to start work even before the complete change of the filling station corporate identity. In addition, such a step will make it possible to resume the work of seized assets as soon as possible, employ people and pay taxes and fees to the budget of Ukraine,” said Volodymyr Bychkov, Director of Neftegaz Oil Trading LLC.
The first filling stations under the U.GO brand started operating in 2017 in Kharkiv and the region. The U.GO trademark is owned by Ukrgasdobycha JSC. Since 2022, Neftegaz Oil Trading LLC also has the right to use it.
